Good news, it usually goes very well!
Upon arrival at the center, after checking in at reception, you will be directed to the changing room. We will provide you with a wetsuit and fins in your size.
Our teams will take care of the rest of the equipment, which you will find directly on the boat.
Once ready, head to the boat. During the journey to the dive site, our instructors will brief you on the dive process, from entering the water to your return to the boat.
When your turn comes, you will be taken in hand by a state-certified instructor who will be exclusively dedicated to you for the duration of your first flight.
Once the dive is over, it's back to the dock!
Our team will provide you with equipment to take back to the dive center, where you can finally enjoy a well-deserved hot shower!
There's only one thing left for you to do: think about completing your Level 1 :)
Not at all! A medical certificate is not required for a first dive, nor for introductory courses.
However, if you suffer or have suffered from any particular ENT or respiratory conditions, we advise you to seek medical advice before engaging in this activity.
In France, for introductory scuba diving, the maximum permitted depth is 6 meters .
However, this is not a mandatory objective and you can enjoy yourself from the very first meters of the descent!
In France, there is no legally mandated minimum age for making your first bubbles.
However, we recommend a minimum age of 8 years to ensure that your child has sufficient physical and emotional maturity to understand all the subtleties of the activity.
The goal is to ensure everyone's safety as much as possible.
Yes and no! In France, the regulatory framework requires instructors to supervise beginners one by one.
Therefore, our instructors will not be able to look after 2 people at the same time.
However, nothing prevents you from being underwater at the same time, supervised by 2 different instructors! You might even have the chance to meet.
Contrary to popular belief, you absolutely do not need to know how to swim to be able to do your first scuba dive!
Indeed, your wetsuit and our inflatable equipment allow you to float once in the water.
Furthermore, the instructor takes care of everything during your introductory dive, and often even fins for you!
